I would describe my overall experience in reading Macbeth as...
My overall experience reading Macbeth has been entertaining and enjoyable. I enjoyed the extremity of the drama that occurred throughout this Shakespearian play. Out of all the plays that I have read that have been by Shakespeare, Macbeth by far has been my favourite. My favourite scene from the play has to be the scene when Macbeth realizes that Macduff can kill him because he was not naturally born out of a womb. I enjoyed the wittiness of Macduff's character. Furthermore, the play was interesting to read because of Shakespeare showing the downward spiral of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. Shakespeare painted a clear picture of Macbeth's' character, he showed their vain, selfish and greed throughout every scene in the play. The play ended on a positive note as Macbeth was finally defeated and Scotland was freed from his deadly reign, which was a relief to read.
